Imagine having your own spring training at a different major league spring training baseball complex each year. Playing on the same fields as the Pros a few weeks before they arrive, daily doubleheaders to tune your skills, catered lunches by the same people used by the Pros, and sunny 80 degrees days. Beats the frozen north in January!

We are proud to announce our Sixth Annual Baseball International Spring Training Goodwill Tournament is now open registration. Our Thursday through Sunday tournament will consist of players from all over the country (and hopefully a few from around the world) traveling to a major league spring training complex stadium (or this year a former one) for a long weekend of games, sun, and family fun.

Come as a player or as a group wanting to experience international baseball camaraderie. The tournament championship game will be held in the main stadium where you will enter baseball immortality by leading your team to victory! Or at least that's what you will tell your friends.

In 2007, we'll be playing at the Ed Smith Stadium Complex, spring training home of the Cincinnati Reds. We'll play games in the main stadium and side fields leading up to the championship game on Sunday morning.

What's included in the tournament registration?

	Each team will play seven games over the four day tournament
	Games will be nine innings with a 15 run mercy rule
	Use of the Cincinnati Reds spring training facility
	Professional umpires calling all of the games
	Batting helmets, catcher's equipment, and baseballs will be provided
	Catered lunch at the stadium each day
	A pre-tournament welcome reception
	Daily games in the main stadium
	Souvenir polo shirt or windbreaker (TBD) commemorating our annual tournament

Originally created as an international tournament, the events of 9/11 have made attaining visas for our international players difficult. We still plan to focus on getting as many international players as possible, but have shifted the focus to a Spring Training Site Tournament as to not disappoint our players expecting a large foreign player turnout . Each year we will play at a different current or former Major League Baseball spring training site. We will still play using international goodwill rules (no passed balls or stolen bases) as we continue to strive for international participation.

We drew big crowds in China and hope to draw players from several countries for the 2007 Tournament.

Teams will be dressed in an all star format with each player bringing his favorite uniform from his home country. Each team will consist of around 12/13 players mixed to achieve a competitive balance. Players are responsible for bringing their own uniforms, gloves, and bats. Both wooden or metal bats are welcomed. Our tournament schedule will be as follows:

The regular registration fee for individual players at the 6th Annual Baseball International Spring Training Tournament is $395. . Want an even larger discount?
